Time changes everything, even you and I have changed

*Venicethx★

My friends call me Hui Xian, only the superb friends call me that. Due to the chinese pronounce, many people couldn’t read my name properly. So I named myself Venice. I like this name very much. I’m a scorpion, quite typical type one.

I believe everything in this world is beautiful, though the reality is always cruel. Hoping in miracle make your life easier & happier. Dream, only extraordinary people want it, I assume myself is an ordinary people, so I still dream. Dreams helps me to achieve what I want because I believe I can do it one day. Although the reality is pushing me down to the Earth, I still believe in hopes with beautiful dreams.

Photograph is an interesting subject. With a fantastic invention, camera can capture every beautiful moments for people to rewind their memories, especially after many years. Human brain can easily forget small details, but photos can help me to rewind every single details. This is why I like photography. It’s part of me, right now. The more I get to know about photography, the more I fall in love with it.

The rain, the winter spring has made us fade away

I really wonder how you feel on these nights so alone

Happening day!
Friday, 25 February 2011

After I graduated from secondary school, I didn't play bowling anymore. I think it's more than 6 years, I never play bowling at all. Now, because of CWH, I need to wear the socks & ugly shoes again for bowling games. It's funny. At first, my score was really bad. Every time my ball also 'masuk longkang'. Scoring 0 for few times. haha. Of course, I did well for second game. heh heh heh!!

I supposed to win him, just because he got strike, that's why I lose to him. He was getting bad in the second games because his hand was tired. lol. I'm getting better, of course. I need time to play again. Okay, I think there are the next post about my beautiful scores again. ;)

It's a happening day again. After the bowling games with CWH, at night I went to OverTime at Bukit Tinggi Klang with the gang! Around 12 of us stick in the same table, drinking & playing card games! :D This is the first time I tried Starker. Okay, I still prefer other beers, not this. At least I like Hoegarden more.

Starker!

The only picture of me & Wei Mun at that night. ;)

I shouldn't drink it fast, again. I lost control at that night. I was so drunk & couldn't control myself at all. opps. This is more serious compare to the Valentine night. lol. Seriously, I don't like the beer, it tastes like perfume. No more Starker next time. lol.

Road trip back from the North!
Sunday, 20 February 2011

Aloha! Penang trip for the second day, also the last day. Woke up in the morning & got ready to check out then we headed to Ayer Itam for breakfast! ;)

The tourists claim that Laksa Pasar Ayer Itam is the best laksa in Penang. Of course we must try. Lucky we still managed to the table. It looks normal but seriously it tasted good, not so sour & everything is just enough. I like it.

Enjoyed!

After breakfast, we were heading up to Kek Lok Si Temple. We straight drove up to Guan Yin Statue there & we took the cable car to Kek Lok Si Temple. This was the first time, for almost 15 years. I totally forgot how Kek Lok Si Temple looks like actually.

The huge Guan Yin Statue, still under progress. ;)

View outside the cable car~

Kek Lok Si Temple happening~

The Pagoda

I managed to climb The Pagoda and prayed for every Buddha. I'm so proud of myself because I'm a person who seriously afraid of height. Thanks Hoong for holding me at the top of the Pagoda. Without him, I couldn't do it.

I was on top of the Pagoda!

When I heard people praying in the temple with the music, I didn't know why I feel like crying. I remembered my grandma, I never see her before, but I thought of her when the moment I heard those music. I wanna know the reason but even I can't explain why the tears roaring in my eyes. I'm afraid but I don't know what I am afraid of. Sigh. This is not the first time.

By the way, we headed down from Kek Lok Si Temple in the late afternoon. There was problem with the tire, we need to fix it back before we can go back to Kuala Lumpur. On the way to the city, we couldn't find a tire shop which is still operating. All the shops opened for half day only & we shouldn't stay any longer when we noticed the tire is not doing good. We asked help from Hoong's cousin who stays at Penang. Lucky on the way to the place that he lead us, we found a tire shop. In the end, we need to change a new tire before we went back to Kuala Lumpur. Lucky, we managed to find the shop, if not we need to stay for another night at Sri Sayang Service Apartment again.

I don't like the accommodation actually. I prefer the one that I stayed when I went with my college classmates. Anne Penang Guesthouse, it is far better than the one I stayed in previous night. I just don't like & I think all of us can't give a good rating to the apartment.

It was early evening when I left Penang. We still wanna tried the Ipoh Sprout Bean Chicken Rice. We couldn't decide which shop to go, we went both. The famous one I heard is Lou Wong Chicken Rice, but Hoong said Onn Kee Chicken Rice is better. I still prefer Lou Wong. The chicken is nice & chew-able. For me, Onn Kee is just another normal chicken rice shop in Kuala Lumpur. lol. I didn't take any pictures because I was so busy eating again. hahaha.

I reached home around 11pm. I was so tired & I couldn't talk anymore. This is how my Penang trip end. Penang is just so far, once a while, I like it. I like Melaka more, because it's near & the food is awesome! I'm planing Melaka road trip again. hehe.

Road trip to the North
Saturday, 19 February 2011

I was late for my Penang trip post! Sorrieee. Maybe non of you bother to read my post but still I wanting to write for you. hehe.

It was a 4 persons trip to Penang from Kuala Lumpur for 2 days 1 night. We passed by Ipoh for dim sum of course. We nearly lost in Ipoh because my stupid GPS from Iphone was not working properly. I called & asked for help. Lucky we still be able to reach safely and we managed to grab a table. You know, it was a Saturday morning, we quite worried actually. lol

Hoong took a lot dim sum which I never ate before but I still not willing to try even though the people said very nice. I don't like it. I just took whatever I eat usually. I finished it by myself. *give me big claps* hahaha.

Ipoh happening

After Ipoh, we headed up to Northern part which is Penang. I was quite excited when I saw Penang bridge at my left side. Wohoo. Finally! First thing we did after reaching Penang was shopped in Gurney Plaza first! We need to get some drinks & snacks for the night. Although we only have 4 of us, still it was enough for the fun, Monopoly deal at night.

Checked in Sri Sayang Service Apartment, we supposed to rest first but we were addicted to Monopoly deal. During evening, we went to the public beach for fun. Shireen & me didn't want to jump down to the sea. I don't know why in the end, the guys didn't go for sea activities as well. In the end, we took photos along the seaside for 1 hour plus.

Beach happening

At night, a long waiting moment for me. I was craving for Penang food for very long. Oh my god. I had my favourite food such as laksa, char kuey teow, blood clam, fried oyster & more which I couldn't recall anymore. I was satisfied with all the food & it was delicious with 2 thumbs up. hehe.

too busy to eat but forgot to take picture before that

After eating, we need to walk around before we headed back to the apartment. Gurney drive, I didn't really look at the this walk path before. I always passed by but I never really enjoyed before. However, I really enjoyed this time. Seeing those people walking around, children playing around, I felt so happy to see all these...

At night, we played Monopoly deal cards & drank beer together. Everyone of us won once or twice during the game, only Bryan didn't win at all. Till the last game when everyone was tired, finally he won at last! Seriously, he was so funny during the game. Every move he did during the game, he regretted for it. hahaha.. First day of Penang just ended. Tomorrow, Kek Lok Si Temple, here we go!

Tao Authentic Asian Cuisine!
Thursday, 17 February 2011

I was thinking to treat Wei Hoong a meal for Valentine's pressy. So I decided to go TAO Buffet Authentic Asian Cuisine, recommended by Rou Yi. I saw quite many people giving good comment about this Japanese Buffet Restaurant. So I want to have a try and since the price is reasonable.

I haven't book till the morning I called & made sure there gonna have a table for us to dine in. It is the first time I been to Sunway Giza Shopping Mall, Kota Damansara. haha, don't laugh!

Soon we found the restaurant located at second floor of the shopping mall.

It's different from other Japanese Buffet because there is a menu at table for extra food ordering from their staffs. The waiter that served intro their best food for us.

The food that the staff recommended are good. :D I like it.

Scallop, I like the sauce so much. ;)

Abalone! yummy~

It looks tasty! XD

I was busy eating, so I didn't capture many food photos.

He was busy eating!

I was enjoy eating too!! :)

It closed at 2.30pm, so both of us keep eating. I think I didn't waste money to eat buffet! I ordered as many food as I can & I finished all up!

I enjoyed the food very much. Maybe we can come for the second time if possible. :) After the lunch, we walked around the shopping mall. I know I'm a kampung girl. The feeling of walking around the new place is awesome. I want to come here for second time, hopefully!

Fluffy, I'm coming to you~ :D

Dong Chan Si Temple!
Wednesday, 16 February 2011

One day before the last day of Chinese New Year, we decided to head down to Jenjarom, Klang to visit Dong Chan Si Temple. The place will pack with a lot of people if we go on the last day of Chinese New Year. The purpose for going there is to have photography session. However, I personally doesn't like to take photos at night. It looks ugly because I don't have good skill.

However, we managed to reach there around 8.30pm after dinner. There were many people too even though it is just weekday. This is the second time I paid a visit to Dong Chan Si Temple. However, today look beautiful compare to the first time.

Me & Wai Keat are October babies! :)

I like this, 善缘好运!

After that, we walked around the temple. This place is huge and full of beautiful lanterns. At last, we went to pray with lotus flower light. All the flowers placed together, it look so beautiful.

After wishing with flower, we went in the hall for praying.

The other thing that I like about Dong Chan Si Temple is their little Buddhist monk statues. All the statues are very cute..

I like this Rabbit!

Buddhism! This is different from Taoism!

The other side of the temple, there are wishes hanging around the tree..

praying for health! Without health, nothing you can do!

I like the light behind the Buddhist!

One of the beautiful lanterns at the arbor!

Finally, Wei Mun & me!

I couldn't really get a beautiful pictures that I really want! I was kinda pissed off with my skill right now. I need to attend workshop soon! sigh! But still, only post some photos that I quite like.

The temple is huge!! We couldn't finish the place but manage to walk all the place but couldn't capture all the beautiful scenery! Too bad. Next try Tian Hou Temple! :)

V'day Celebration~
Monday, 14 February 2011

Happy Valentine's Day! I think everyone celebrated Valentine Day this year because the next day is a public holiday. I have a special valentine this year, why? This is because we celebrated Valentine together with friends. 3 pairs of couples, a few friends together celebrated at Allegro Cafe, SS15 Subang Jaya.

Girls sit in a row!

The dinner was awesome! The place is romantic but with few of us, we nearly ruined the place. As usual, we're the most noisiest customers in the restaurant. I think the couples in the restaurant couldn't stay our noise!

The starter, main course & dessert! *thumbs up*

Jonathan Lim recommended the restaurant & the white wine is superb! It's sweet & I kinda like it.

White wine & my flower!

Unexpectedly, I have something special in the Valentine's day! I received flowers from Wei Hoong, this is the first time, seriously! I love the flower so much.

Thanks bubee! ♥ you!

After the dinner, we have second round at Sid's pub at TTDI. However, the next day is public holiday, we couldn't get a place there so we change to the other branch at Kampung Tunku, Kuala Lumpur. My camera ran out of battery after the dinner. :O

The bar!!

Strongbow, the drink that made me K.O.!

I can't believe I was drunk tonight. Seriously drunk & couldn't control myself, Non-stop laughing. I like the drinks, awesome too. The night was great! This is the first time, I have an enjoyable valentine. :)

Uncle Lim, Genting~
Friday, 11 February 2011

After 7 hours of sleeping time, the next day, we planned to go up to Genting Highland for one day trip. The guys wanna try their luck at Uncle Lim's! I just wanna have a windy walk there~! :)

On the way to Genting!!

Regretted that we didn't have lunch at Gohtong Jaya for brunch!! We went to McDonald for lunch instead of Gohtong Jaya!!

We stopped by at Uncle Lim's memorial garden! Jon fed the fish there so we chilling there for 15 minutes & we took a picture with Uncle Lim! ;)

The Guys

The Girls

After we reached Genting, the first place we went is not Casino but the Genting International Convention Center. It is Sales Festival inside & all the things are cheaper compare to outside. However, I saw a favourite bag but it costs me Rm350 plus. I don't think it's worth for it. Sigh! So, after shopping inside GICC, we moved on to Casino. Now only we entered Casino for fun.

Hmm, it was crowded and minimum bet for each table is RM50! woah! so much, how am I gonna play? CRAZY sial!! I just look around then ciaoz with the ladies to Starbucks, Highland Hotel.

Enjoyed the hot Mocha there!!

We have girls talk in Starbucks! It's different feeling when there are girls only in the girls talk! LOL. *hint hint* Of course, we have photograph session as well. After Wai Keat joined us at Starbucks!

The weather was getting cold in the late evening. I couldn't bear the cold and I went back to the arcade and waited for the rest to come out from Casino! Some won & some lose, I never bother to ask. lol.

Before we heading down to Gohtong Jaya for dinner, we have a group photo in the entrance of First World Hotel!

Er Kai showing his money! = =

We have our favourite food at favourite restaurant! :) I miss the fried pork there! Awww! I wanna go for fried pork again! ;D Overall, it's another hectic day again! But, I enjoyed a lot. The guys are addicted with Uncle Lim's place, they gonna go again in the midnight. CRAZY!!

Ti Gong~
Thursday, 10 February 2011

A prayer day for the Hokkien people tonight! My mum said today is consider as the Hokkien people's New Year. There are history behind of it but I'm not gonna touch about it. It is a long history. There are many things to prepare for the wonderful night. However, I choose few to post the pictures.

What my dad is really proud of himself is the "HOUSE OF GOD"! He was really proud of it and insisted me to take a picture of it.!

This is the first year that my friends came over to my place for praying. Although few of them are not Hokkien, they still came & joined for fun. ;)

When the clock strike at 12am, all of us started praying!

My parents are both PRO prayers! LOL

All of us busy burning the papers & stuffs!

After finished praying, my parent prepared supper for us with the food that they prepared just now. Lucky all of them are here, or else we need 3 days to finish all the food. We have really a lot of food on the table. :D What we gonna do next? Of course, continuing with the games that we like during Chinese New Year! It was a hectic night!
