My friends call me Hui Xian, only the superb friends call me that. Due to the chinese pronounce, many people couldn’t read my name properly. So I named myself Venice. I like this name very much. I’m a scorpion, quite typical type one.

I believe everything in this world is beautiful, though the reality is always cruel. Hoping in miracle make your life easier & happier. Dream, only extraordinary people want it, I assume myself is an ordinary people, so I still dream. Dreams helps me to achieve what I want because I believe I can do it one day. Although the reality is pushing me down to the Earth, I still believe in hopes with beautiful dreams.

Photograph is an interesting subject. With a fantastic invention, camera can capture every beautiful moments for people to rewind their memories, especially after many years. Human brain can easily forget small details, but photos can help me to rewind every single details. This is why I like photography. It’s part of me, right now. The more I get to know about photography, the more I fall in love with it.

Homemade yu sang!

During Chinese New Year, we can't miss yu sheng~ Everyone must lou sang at least once during CNY. Therefore, my mum has a tradition recipe to make a delicious yu sang~! It's different from what we have in the restaurant.

Seriously, I'm not gonna compare with it, because different people may have different tastes. Myself prefer homemade yu sang because all ingredients are fresh and my mum went to market in the early morning to get the fish. Besides, the sauce to mix up everything together is different too. Totally thumb up for this.!

It's not an easy job to do it. In the past years, I never help out but this year I did help out. OMG! So many works to do it. All the ingredients must cut it into small pieces, using the scissor to cut till I feel the pain for my hand. :O Seriously, many hard work to do it, but soon I gonna learn it too. This is a tradition recipe. ;)

Every 2nd day of Chinese New Year, my dad always invites his friends and family to come over and eat yu sang together.

Homemade yu sang may not have 7 different colour as the chinese call it, 七彩鱼生 but it's delicious. The first time and the only yu sang I eat! yum yum! Making yu sang every year is part of my culture as well. ;)
